Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

There are various ways which as a business you can support us in this cause.

 

Angel Gown / Apparel Workshops
We conduct workshops for your staff to come together to spend 4 to 6 hours volunteering with us  at your own premises. Pick up basic fabric handling and cutting skills as well as an insight into the process of sewing the angel apparel.

Our workshops includes deconstructing wedding gowns, cutting up the gowns/fabric to make gown /wrap kits for our sewists to sew, ironing, simple hand sewing or packing the completed angel gowns.

Minimum 15pax per workshop

 

Angel Beanies Workshop
Learn to loom knit an angel beanie in this 3 hour workshop for distribution to the bereaved families. All tools and materials will be provided. Suitable for those new to loom knitting.

Minimum 8pax per workshop

 

Company led Fund raising activities
Rally your staff to help us raise funds, either through selling the hand made items our volunteers make or through informal funds collection. Some ways could include holding a bazaar sale for your staff or office building/vicinity. Email us to explore further.

We seek sponsorship for the following:

Packaging – Customised clear gift packaging boxes / clear cellophane packaging / customised cardboard hangers
Fabric – Duchess satin / cotton / canvas (no curtain or upholstery fabric)
Sewing notions – Zips / interface / ribbons / bias tape / bag findings & tools
Other craft materials – Jewellery beads & hair accessories findings

Equipment Sponsorship
Basic domestic sewing machine (Qty: 2)
Mid range domestic sewing machine (able to sew through 12 layers of material) or basic industrial sewing machine (Qty: 1)
Domestic overlock/serger machine (Qty :1)
Domestic steam press (Qty : 2)

Services
Professional accounting and audit services for CLG (From Mar 2019)
On site servicing of sewing equipment (ongoing)
Non profit management support
Digital Marketing agency support

Space
Venue space to run our meet ups and workshops (Weekdays 9am – 3pm / Saturdays 9am – 3pm)
Warehouse / storage space (Accessible by our volunteers) From June 2019 onwards
Pop up Bazaar or flea space
Consignment / display space for our handmade products
